As a nutritional and environmental medicine practitioner, Dr Ross strongly believes that health is intimately linked with our environment. From experience treating patients at sea in the Navy, in remote and difficult occupational and military postings and multiple international settings, it is critical to ask the broad question, ‘what is our total environment; our physical spaces, social settings and daily rhythm doing to our health?’. We are all animals and our habitat is the ultimate starting point for our health.
As such, Dr Ross believes that personalized solutions are key to achieving optimal health and wellness, striving to meet each individual where they are on their journey; whilst always taking into consideration the broader questions on environment. This may include thinking about time at the office, a change in role or work nature or introduction of new settings (especially nature) in a search for what your health ultimately is needing.
With years of experience as a medical doctor focusing on holistic health and a military doctor working in occupationally challenging settings, Dr Ross offers an approach that combines the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based alternative therapies. He believes in treating the whole person through mind, body and environment to address the root causes of your health concerns.
